Par Fabien Gallet. L’édition 2015 du palmarès mondial des universités, U-Multirank, a été publiée lundi 30 mars. Dans ce classement qui se veut une alternative aux autres déjà existants, 69 établissements français sont répertoriés, soit sept de plus qu’en 2014.

Next month, Whatuni will announce the results of their survey of 20,000 students across the UK. The university rankings are based on averages taken from reviews submitted to the site and cover nine categories: accommodation, city life, clubs and societies, course and lecturers, job prospects, student union, uni facilities, support services and an overall rating that will count for the title of University of the Year. US College Ratings May Split into Two
There has been a new development in the efforts of the US Department of Education to produce a new college ratings system. It now seems that the Department is considering creating two separate ratings, one for consumers that would provide basic data and one for educators, administrators and policy experts that would reflect the demographic and social diversity of students and institutions. Les universités françaises peinent à soigner leur réputation internationale
Par Matteo Maillard. En matière de prestige académique, Harvard règne sans partage depuis plusieurs année sur le paysage universitaire international. Dans son cinquième classement annuel qui hiérarchise les établissements de l'enseignement supérieur selon leur réputation, le mensuel britannique Times Higher Education (THE) a encore une fois souligné le succès d'estime que recueille auprès de ses pairs cette fameuse institution de l'Ivy League. Une réussite que viennent appuyer ses congénères nord-américains, plaçant 43 établissements du supérieur dans le top 100, dont 26 dans le top 50 et 8 dans le top 10. En deuxième place, le Royaume-Uni voit 12 des ses universités figurer au palmarès, 6 pour l'Allemagne et 5 pour la France qui fait égalité avec l'Australie et les Pays-Bas. Voir l'article...
Le CNRS, 1er organisme mondial de recherche selon le classement "Nature Index"
Avec un total de 4 894 articles référencés en 2014, le CNRS prend la première place du nouveau classement international des institutions scientifiques que propose le magazine Nature, baptisé "Nature Index", signale le CNRS jeudi 12 février 2015. Two public universities target world 100 best by 2020
The Education Ministry is targeting two public universities in the country to be in the top world 100 best universities by 2020.
