Parue le 24 octobre, une étude financée par le JISC britannique, dresse un premier bilan des accords de couplage « abonnements/APC » signés par le consortium britannique avec 5 éditeurs scientifiques importants (Wiley, Taylor & Francis, Sage, Institute of Physics, Royal Society of Chemistry). Les premiers constats qui se dégagent de cette évaluation des accords couplés sont inquiétants : ce mécanisme encourage la publication en revues hybrides, ne réduit en rien les dépenses d’abonnements, ne contient que très partiellement la progression de la dépense « abonnements + APC », se révèle en pratique d’une grande complexité.
