Container City a mis en lumière les nombreux atouts de la construction en conteneurs: un coût de production bien inférieur, une production plus rapide avec un assemblage en intérieur permettant de respecter les délais, des niveaux de pollutions atmosphérique, sonore et visuelle limités, et une caractéristique de modularité permettant d’agrandir, de réduire, voire de déplacer les logements. Surtout, la réutilisation d’un objet disponible en quantité quasi-illimitée, renforce le caractère écologique de cette innovation.
