Readers will be aware of my explorations of Ruby on Rails last fall, a project I eventually abandoned. This article nicely illustrates in a manner much better than I could the reasons why. Starting with: "Rails doesn't play well. With anyone. Not even itself." Also, "Rails has no manual. Let me repeat that: Rails has no manual. If you haven't used Rails, you may not believe me.
