ESU strongly repels violent acts against students in France
The European Students’ Union (ESU) strongly repels the violent acts that took place on 22 March 2018. On this day, hooded men attacked students who were peacefully occupying the lecture hall of the faculty of law and political science of Montpellier, in France.
The students were supporting the massive students’ demonstrations against the latest Macron’s higher education reform, when the attackers – allegedly from far-right movements – entered the hall and started to hit them with iron and wood bars leaving some of them hospitalised. More...
