CollegesWales, the Wales’ national contact point for the European qualifications framework, completed in 2016 their research on the European master craftsperson qualifications. Luxembourg: new Tech School focuses on digital education
The Luxembourg Tech School (LTS) is a new extracurricular school concept to support the development of future digital leaders. It is aimed at students aged 15 to 20 years who are passionate about the digital realm and eager to learn and apply technology in a real business context. Sweden: every tenth Swedish initial VET learner goes abroad
According to a report published in 2017 by Statistics Sweden (SCB), every tenth person who has completed initial vocational education and training (VET) and is aged between 18 and 34 years had been abroad for at least two weeks within the framework of his/her upper secondary education. This proportion is much higher than the benchmark of 6% set by the European Union. The report also gives statistics on international mobility for learning purposes and the scope of mobility among Swedish learners. More...
