In Supercomputer Ranking China on Top

The 48th TOP500 international ranking of supercomputing capacity has been published. The list of 500 systems, from which a variety of sublists can be generated, was started in June 1993 and is published twice a year. The current authors are Erich Strohmaier of NERSC/Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, Jack Dongarra of the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, Horst Simon of NERSC/Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, and Hans Meuer of the University of Mannheim.
