Universitas 21, a network of 26 universities with headquarters at the University of Birmingham, has announced its latest rankings. The U21 Ranking of National Higher Education Systems is prepared by a team of researchers at the University of Melbourne. The ranking is based on survey data collected by Thomson Reuters over the last six years and equal weighting is given to research reputation and postgraduate teaching reputation. Évolution des salaires de base par branche professionnelle en 2015
Au cours de l’année 2015, où l’activité de négociation salariale de branche était peu soutenue, le salaire mensuel de base (SMB) dans les entreprises de 10 salariés ou plus a progressé de 1,2 %, après 1,4 % en 2014. L’indice des prix a augmenté de 0,2 % après une inflation nulle en 2014. Le pouvoir d’achat du SMB a ainsi continué de progresser, à un rythme réduit (+1,0 %, après +1,4 % en 2014).
Le SMB ralentit dans plus de la moitié des regroupements de branches, particulièrement dans l’« habillement, cuir et textile » et dans le « bâtiment et travaux publics ».
Comme d’ordinaire en cas de très faible inflation, l’essentiel des accords de branches s’est limité à intégrer la hausse du Smic dans la grille conventionnelle de rémunération et à relever éventuellement les niveaux supérieurs.
Le SMB décélère pour l’ensemble des catégories socio-professionnelles mais demeure plus dynamique pour les cadres que pour les autres salariés.

DAES - une seconde chance d’obtenir un diplôme et d’accéder aux études supérieures
Avec la mise en place de cette formation, l’Education nationale offre aux personnes non diplômées une seconde chance d’obtenir une certification reconnue et d’accéder aux études supérieures (DAES).
La formation s’adresse aux adultes à partir de 20 ans qui ont quitté la formation initiale depuis au moins deux ans et qui ont une expérience professionnelle d’au moins 12 mois (20 heures hebdomadaires). Aux apprenants qui ont réussi la formation est délivré un diplôme d’accès aux études supérieures. Reconnu équivalent au diplôme de fin d’études secondaires luxembourgeois, il donne également accès aux professions réglementées et aux emplois dans le secteur public.
La formation menant au DAES s’inscrit dans le cadre du lifelong learning. Elle permet aux personnes non diplômées de développer leurs connaissances et compétences pour améliorer leur chances d’embauche, se réorienter ou faire face à de nouveaux défis professionnels. Elle les prépare également à la réalité pédagogique et didactique universitaire, en développant, outre les savoirs disciplinaires, les compétences transversales essentielles pour la poursuite des études: capacités d’analyse, de synthèse et de communication, autonomie dans les apprentissages.
