Iran Science Rankings

The Islamic World Science Center (ISC), based in Shiraz, has released its ranking of Iranian universities. The criteria include research output, research quality, number of faculty and postgraduate students, international collaboration, student loans and links with industry. The ranking is interesting as it is likely that the lifting of international Sanctions will lead to more international collaboration and more publication of scientific papers. The École Polytechnique in Paris has signed agreements with the University of Tehran, the University of Isfahan and Sharif University of Technology.
