IAU at the Zero Project Conference 2016

The Conference which saw the participation of over 500 participants from 70 countries was titled Innovative Policies and Practices on Inclusive Education and ICT. The session on Inclusive Universities showcased great practices and policies that have been taking place in various regions of the world at government and higher education levels. They illustrated the wealth and breadth of activities undertaken in the field worldwide, but also showed that there was still a long way to go before all persons with disabilities, who had the capacity and wish to attend higher education could do so in the field of study and location of their choice. 2nd D-Transform Dissemination Event

Co-organized by the IAU and the Hungarian Rectors' Conference (MRK), the 2nd D-Transform Dissemination Event entitled Preparing higher education leaders to become the change makers requested by knowledge societies, will take place 28-29 April 2016, at the MRK, Budapest, Hungary. Change of dates for the IAU 15th General Conference (13-16 November) and Call for Case Studies!

The Conference hosts in Thailand have decided to change the dates of the IAU 15th General Conference to 13-16 November 2016 (instead of 14-17 November), please make sure to update your agenda accordingly! Registration opens on 4 April 2016. Call for Case studies still open! Researchers, academics and practitioners from IAU Member institutions or organizations are invited to submit an abstract (max. 250 words) introducing concrete experiences in relation to the theme of conference: Higher Education: A catalyst for innovative and sustainable societies The deadline for submission is 31 March 2016.
