Quality Enhancement Network - Student Engagement

The Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education

Event date 8 March, 15 March and 23 March 2016
Location Bolton (8th), Bristol (15th) and Greenwich (23rd)

The ethos of a partnership approach to student engagement in the quality assurance of higher education provision is well embedded throughout the sector. However, specific groups of students have different requirements and needs in relation to student engagement. With this in mind, we have put together three separate Quality Enhancement Network (QEN) events offering different perspectives on student engagement:

  • 8 March 2016 - Student Engagement in Postgraduate Taught Provision, University of Bolton
  • 15 March 2016 - Student Engagement in Collaborative Provision, University of the West of England
  • 23 March 2016 - Student Engagement in Postgraduate Research Provision, University of Greenwich

These topics have been specifically requested by colleagues at previous QAA and QEN events. They have been designed to look at the challenges surrounding these particular areas, facilitate discussion between practitioners, and to share good practice and possible solutions. More...
