Learning cities in China are taking innovative steps to promote sustainable development through learning and education. For example, Hangzhou’s strategy for building a learning city that involves all its citizens is based on a commitment to the ‘3 Ls’ of learning: lifelong, life-wide and life-deep’ (3Ls).
