The Melbourne CSHE is hosting a series of public seminars in October and November focusing on emerging trends shaping Australian tertiary education. The seminars are open to all staff and students of the University of Melbourne and members of the public. In this presentation, Dr Santoshi Halder will present on research findings about the challenges and needs of women with disabilities in India. The purpose is twofold: to highlight the daily struggle of women in general and the compounding factors of torment, ostracism, pains and metal anguish impinged on women with disabilities as well as to observe and learn from the experiences of women with disabilities.
