Midi-Pyrénées est la région française la plus engagée dans des activités de recherche, avec un effort de recherche de 4,8 % en 2012. L’objectif de la Stratégie Europe 2020 de consacrer 3 % du PIB aux dépenses de recherche est également atteint en Île-de-France depuis 2011.

2015-064 - Les contrats uniques d’insertion et les emplois d’avenir en 2014. Des bénéficiaires plus nombreux malgré des recrutements en baisse
413 000 contrats aidés ont débuté en 2014, 338 000 dans le secteur non marchand et 75 000 dans le secteur marchand. Si le nombre de signatures de contrats a baissé de 9,7 % par rapport à 2013, année de très fortes embauches, le nombre de bénéficiaires continue d’augmenter (+20 % en 2014, après +47 % en 2013) sous l’effet de l’allongement de la durée moyenne des CUI signés et du déploiement des emplois d’avenir. Fin décembre 2014, 380 000 personnes étaient salariées en contrat aidé, hors structures d’insertion par l’activité économique.
87 % des nouvelles embauches en contrat unique d’insertion ou en emploi d’avenir ont concerné des demandeurs d’emploi de longue durée, des seniors, des bénéficiaires de minima sociaux ou des jeunes peu qualifiés.
41 % des nouvelles embauches ont bénéficié à des jeunes, en baisse de 2 points par rapport à 2013. Le niveau moyen de qualification augmente légèrement, à l’entrée en contrat unique d’insertion comme en emploi d’avenir : 49 % des nouveaux bénéficiaires d’un contrat unique d’insertion et 25 % des jeunes entrant en emploi d’avenir ont un niveau supérieur ou égal au baccalauréat.
