At a meeting hosted by the EU Latvian Presidency in Riga on 22 June, the ministers renewed their efforts 'in raising the overall quality and status of VET in the context of the Copenhagen process.' They aim to meet the education and training 2020 strategic objectives and reaffirm their support for the wider European growth and jobs agenda.

Je salue la nomination de Thierry Mandon au poste de secrétaire d'État à l'Enseignement supérieur et à la Recherche.
Jusqu'alors secrétaire d'État à la Réforme de l'État et à la Simplification, Thierry Mandon a créé le Génopole d'Évry, campus de biotechnologies et pôle de recherche.
Je tiens à remercier à nouveau Geneviève Fioraso pour son action constante entre mai 2012 et mars 2015 en faveur de l'enseignement supérieur et de la recherche.
