Déprogrammer le déclin professionnel

Par Paul Santelmann, Responsable de la Prospective à l’AFPA. Selon la DARES (Analyses – Février 2015 – n° 012) 45,6 % des 55-64 ans ont un emploi et 3,4 % sont au chômage. L’augmentation du taux d’activité des seniors constatée depuis 2008 s’est stabilisée et témoigne de la difficulté à rattraper les autres pays d’Europe sur le plan du rapport à l’emploi de cette population. De 2008 à 2013 le taux de chômage des seniors a augmenté plus rapidement que celui de l’ensemble des actifs. D’une manière générale la dégradation du rapport à l’emploi se concentre chez les hommes de 60-64 ans et illustre l’échec de la politique d’allongement de la vie active dans un pays où la durée de vie augmente.
