The board of Lund University Cultural and Public Centres is through project manager Daniel Eriksson undertaking a Mapping-project of the public cultural activity units of selected LERU universities. A report is expected in April/May 2015 and the project has the long-term objective that its outcome will assist in identifying potential future collaborations and connections.
The purpose of the mapping process is to gain a comparative overview of how public cultural activities are run, organised and funded at a selection of Universities with LERU membership. The parameters that will be investigated are the type and scope of the organisational units in charge of public cultural activities, their forms of governance and organisational affiliation within the University, contact with and participation in research and education, funding and forms of finance.
