L'ANI du 11 janvier 2008 et la loi du 25 juin 2008 ont prévu d'expérimenter un CDD à objet défini (CDD-OD) dont le terme est fixé à la réalisation d'une mission de 18 à 36 mois. Le contrat prend fin avec la réalisation de cette mission, après un délai de prévenance au moins égal à 2 mois. Il peut, en outre, être rompu par l'une ou l'autre partie, pour un motif réel et sérieux, 18 mois après sa conclusion, puis à la date anniversaire de sa conclusion.
Le recours à ce contrat est réservé aux cadres et aux ingénieurs et ne peut pas être renouvelé.
Il est conditionné à la signature d'un accord de branche étendu ou, à défaut, d'un accord d'entreprise qui doit énoncer les nécessités économiques auxquelles ce type de contrat permet de répondre. Cet accord doit aussi indiquer les conditions dans lesquelles les salariés en CDD-OD bénéficient de garanties relatives à l'aide au reclassement, à la VAE, à la priorité de réembauche et à l'accès à la formation professionnelle continue, et peuvent, au cours du délai de prévenance, mobiliser les moyens disponibles pour organiser la suite de leur parcours professionnel.

Les programmes de mobilité universitaire et l’entreprenariat dans l’éducation et la formation seront au cœur des discussions.
Présidé par Stefania Giannini, ministre italienne de l’Éducation, de l’Université et de la Recherche, le Conseil Éducation, jeunesse, culture et sport se tiendra vendredi 12 décembre à Bruxelles à 10h00.
L’entreprenariat dans l’éducation et la formation, les programmes de mobilité universitaire et l’approche multisectorielle des politiques pour les jeunes seront les sujets abordés au cours de cette rencontre.
Une conférence de presse est prévue à l’issue des travaux.

The priorities of the Latvian Presidency are: competitive, digital and engaged Europe.
During the Latvian Presidency, around 200 events will be held in Latvia including high-level political meetings. One of the main events will be the Eastern Partnership Summit and its related meetings (Business Forum, Civil Society Forum, Media Freedom Conference and Youth Forum, etc.). The visit from the Directorate-General for Translation (DG TRAD) aims to give an advanced insight into Latvia – its ongoing political processes and diversity of culture. The Programme of the Latvian Presidency of the Council of the European Union and its priorities is presented to the translators and interpreters during their visit. They also visit important cultural and historical objects of Latvia. Latvian is not the native language of those translators who are coming to Latvia, but they have learned Latvian and translate EP documents from Latvian daily.
