The Government has decided to form a committee to review the land requirements of various central educational institutes in wake of difficulties arising in starting new campuses due to paucity of land and delay in acquiring them by the states.

The six-member committee, will be headed by Secretary Higher Education S N Mohanty and, will submit its report within two months with its recommendations.
