No takers for 14% higher education seats this year in Oman

By Faizul Haque. More than 4,000 seats in higher educational institutions in Oman are vacant for the 2014-15 academic year, according to officials.
Yahya bin Salam Al Munthiri, acting director general of the Higher Education Admission Centre (HEAC), said 31,608 seats in government educational institutions were available for students this year.
