Call for Expressions of Interest - ISAS programme open to IAU Members in several Asian countries

A Call for Expressions of Interest has now been issued by the International Association of Universities (IAU) to its Member institutions in several countries in Asia (as listed below) inviting applications to undertake an Internationalization Strategies Advisory Service (ISAS) project with IAU.

  • The countries in question are: Bangladesh, Mongolia, Nepal, Pakistan, Papua New Guinea, Philippines, Sri Lanka, Vietnam

  • The Call and application form are available to download here

With financial support provided by the Swedish International Development and Cooperation Agency (Sida), the IAU is in a position to waive the usual ISAS fee (normally €20,000 or more) and thus provide the ISAS programme at practically no cost to the beneficiary institution.
The ISAS programme, which was first developed by IAU in 2010, is designed for all institutions that wish to review, analyze or develop their internationalization strategy and related activities. It is a participatory initiative involving an institution-wide process of self-study accompanied by an external team of experts. It aims to ensure that the internationalization strategy and activities are effective in serving the broader institutional goals.
Should your institution wish to apply for this ISAS, please ensure that the Application Form is completed and returned to IAU no later than 01 July 2014.
Should you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact Ross Hudson, Coordinator, Internationalization (r.hudson@iau-aiu.net ). For more information on ISAS, please see the IAU webpages on internationalization.
