Milan university to teach most degrees in English

The LocalTwenty-nine out of 36 degree courses will be taught in English at the Politecnico di Milano from the start of the next academic year, La Repubblica reported. The plans were initially announced by the university’s rector, Giovanni Azzone, in 2012, with the aim of rolling out all degree courses in English from 2014. Azzone said at the time that in order to stay competitive at a global level, universities have no choice but to adopt the English language.
