First newsletter of the Global Network of Learning Cities (GNLC) published

On April 22, the Coordination Team of the UNESCO GNLC published the first issue of the GNLC Newsletter, featuring an interview with Ms Angela Brown Burke, Mayor of Kingston, Jamaica, on the importance of learning cities, internal developments in the network, actions taken in some cities since the first International Conference on Learning Cities, and upcoming events within the GNLC.
From now on, the Coordination Team will publish quarterly newsletters to share progress and developments in the GNLC and provide stakeholders with insights into the actions that cities have taken to become learning cities.
