http://www.ireg-observatory.org/images/audit/audit_baner_pionowy_1.gifThe Science and Technology Select Committee of the upper house of the British parliament, the House of Lords, has investigated the number of international students in STEM subjects (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) in British universities and the impact of immigration policy. Over the last two years the number of international students fell by 10%.
Tightening immigration rules, high visa fees and restrictions on working after graduation were deterring students who were now more attracted to the USA, Australia and Canada.
