Increasingly more Czechs want to study at U.S. universities
Czechs' interests in studying at prestigious U.S. universities has been rising and they can use various scholarships to cover the study costs, Jakub Tesar, from the Fullbright Commission organising a fair of American universities yesterday, has told CTK.
The commission deals with study exchanges between the Czech Republic and the United States.
Last year, 776 Czechs studied in the United States, which means a year-on-year 11-percent rise. Sixteen U.S. universities, including the University of Central Florida, the University of California and the New York Film Academy, presented their programmes in Prague yesterday. More...
