Research reveals high levels of unemployment among university leavers that leaves them wondering if they should have studied a more vocational subject.  Two out of five graduates are still looking for work six months after completing their studies, and one in four are still job hunting a year after graduation - leaving many of them asking whether they made the right choice by pursuing academic studies instead of an apprenticeship. A survey of 676 graduates by jobs website totaljobs.com found that a third were applying for more than 20 vacancies every month, and almost half (44pc) said they regretted not having studied a more vocational subject.
