Chinese woman gets two years for scam that had imposters write Canadian English-language proficiency tests

A woman from China has been sentenced to two years for running an immigration scam that helped foreign students get around Canada’s English-language proficiency requirement by having imposters write their tests. Angela Wang pleaded guilty to multiple immigration violations after she was arrested at Toronto’s Pearson airport on April 4 carrying 11 counterfeit Chinese passports in her luggage. More...
