Universities need to embrace a feedback culture

By Eric Bohms. We need to look at how we can create a wider culture of feedback and engagement in both directions at university; from tutors to students and vice versa, says Eric Bohms. 
In his recent article for the Telegraph, David Willetts warned that "the pendulum has swung too far away from teaching" in higher education, and argued that "students and parents are right to demand that teaching and feedback must be centre stage".
I am pleased to see this attention deservedly placed on the need to prioritise the quality of teaching in UK universities – after all, is this not their primary function, to educate future generations? Read more...
