The study aims to improve the understanding of policies and practice that support the quality of training in enterprises through the development and updating of in-company trainers’ competences. The study will bring evidence on how enterprises support training of their employees and more specifically, how they identify, nominate/recruit and support trainers in companies and how they develop and upgrade their competences. The study will also propose recommendations for policy-makers, regional authorities and organisations, sectoral organisations, employers, and in-company trainers on how to create better opportunities for equipping in-company trainers with necessary competences.
