Les emplois d'avenir professeur (EAP) peuvent vous intéresser!
Ils offrent à des étudiants boursiers se destinant aux métiers du professorat la possibilité d’entrer progressivement dans le métier grâce à un parcours visant le développement de leurs compétences professionnelles et l’acquisition d’une expérience de terrain. Les étudiants concernés se voient ainsi confier un emploi à temps partiel au sein d’une école ou d’un établissement scolaire, sur une base moyenne de 12 heures par semaine. Cette durée peut varier en cours d'année afin de leur permettre de suivre leur formation universitaire, de préparer et de passer leurs examens universitaires et les concours. Au sein de l’école ou de l’établissement scolaire, les étudiants sont encadrés et conseillés par un tuteur qui les suivra tout au long de leur formation au métier de professeur.
Les étudiants recrutés dans le cadre d’un EAP bénéficient en outre d’une aide leur permettant de financer la suite de leurs études.

Action de professionnalisation « Les outils d'aide à l'orientation, théories et pratiques »

Le CARIF-OREF Guadeloupe a jugé opportun d’organiser une action de professionnalisation en direction des professionnels de l'orientation, de la formation, de l'insertion et de l'emploi en Guadeloupe.
Nous vous invitons à participer à l’action de professionnalisation « Les outils d'aide à l'orientation, théories et pratiques » qui se déroulera le vendredi 17 mai 2013 de 8h à 12h et de 13h à 16h dans les locaux de la Cité des Métiers Salle 1.
Cet atelier qui sera animé par le CARIF en collaboration avec madame Béatrice GALITA, vise à présenter les outils à la disposition des professionnels de l'orientation, de l'insertion et de l'emploi:

Ministry of Education to send 10,000 students abroad
Libya’s higher education system, plagued with overcrowding and poor teaching standards, has prompted the government to send thousands of promising students abroad to complete their studies. Speaking yesterday at a press conference, the Deputy Minister of Higher Education, Bashir Eshtewi, said that the ministry’s target was to despatch 10,284 students to foreign universities.
Decisions had already been made for 5,692 students, including 2,004 faculty members already holding Masters’ Degrees, Eshtewi said, as well as 3,616 “top students” who will now complete their Masters’ qualifications abroad. The selected post-graduates are studying a range of disciplines, including science and medicine. Libyan universities have been criticised for substandard teaching from underpaid and overworked lecturers and a total lack of student support. Read more...
U.S.-Mexico education partnership announced

The forum's mission is to bring together government agency counterparts from Mexico and the U.S. to deepen cooperation on higher education, innovation and research. It will also draw on the expertise of the higher education communities in both countries, according to the State Department. More than 18,000 Mexican and U.S. university students study in each other’s countries annually. The Mexico-U.S. Commission for Educational and Cultural Exchange (COMEXUS) oversees the Fulbright-Garcia Robles Scholarship Program, the flagship program in U.S.-Mexico academic exchanges. The IT giant has tied up with the Tanzania Commission for Science and Technology (COSTECH) and UhuruOne to provide affordable broadband access to university students and faculty in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.
UhuruOne, a local Internet service provider, will offer Windows 8 device and service packages to universities in Dar es Salaam.
