Executive Programmes for University Leaders: Extended Central and Eastern Europe Region, Budapest, Hungary
The Central European University (CEU) in Hungary and the European Centre for Strategic Management of Universities (ESMU) are organising two Executive Programmes for senior university leaders in Budapest, Hungary, in February 2013 and April 2013.
The programmes, limited to 25 participants, will focus on the needs faced by universities in Central and Eastern Europe in the context of the economic crisis. They will look at recent and planned developments in Europe and in the European Higher Education Area, as well as the needs and challenges resulting from an increasing exposure to phenomena arising from the globalisation of higher education.
- The first programme, entitled ‘University leaders responding to funding challenges’, will take place from 20 to 23 February 2013.
- The second, ‘Strategic Management of Universities: Rankings and Classifications’, will be held from 17 to 20 April 2013.
The target audience is senior university leaders from the extended Central and Eastern European region from Rectors to Vice-Rectors or equivalent positions.
