Centre for the Study of Financial Innovation (CSFI) − a London-based not-for-profit think tank that looks at threats and opportunities in the financial sector − with the support of the City of London Corporation, has launched an online directory for academics and experts. The aim is to provide an “easy-to-use website on which academics and other experts can offer their services to the financial services sector – banks, insurers, etc. – and on which City practitioners can find expert advice on a range of services”.
It is designed as a free service, where academics and other experts in a range of disciplines (e.g. economists, sociologists, finance/business specialists, historians, political science experts, etc.) can register their credentials, which can then be searched by practitioners looking for independent advice and research.
