Paving the Way to CONFINTEA VI

A Time for Learning: Paving the Way to CONFINTEA VI: the Adult Learners´ Voice. 31.3.-4.4. 2009 Edinburgh, Scotland.
The 6th International Conference on Adult Education (CONFINTEA VI) will be a UNESCO led intergovernmental conference (category II) for policy dialogue and policy assessment on adult learning and education, hosted by Brazil in May 2009.
It has been preceded by Regional Preparatory Conferences that were carried out during 2008 and the learners´ event which will be held in Edinburgh, Scotland between 31 March and 4 April 2009.
The Conference has 4 broad aims:

1. To ensure learner, provider and policy maker involvement in the planning and programming of the world adult learning conference.
2. To bring policy makers, practitioners and learners together to plan for practice sharing & policy planning.
3. To develop an adult learners´ charter.
4. To establish a global learners´ advocacy network.

Η Διάσκεψη έχει 4 μεγάλους στόχους:

1. Για να εξασφαλιστεί μαθητής, παρόχου και ιθύνοντες χάραξης πολιτικής συμμετοχή στο σχεδιασμό και τον προγραμματισμό της εκπαίδευσης ενηλίκων παγκόσμια διάσκεψη.
2. Για να μειωθούν οι φορείς χάραξης πολιτικής, επαγγελματίες και εκπαιδευόμενους μαζί με το σχέδιο για την ανταλλαγή πρακτικών και σχεδιασμού πολιτικής.
3. Για να αναπτυχθεί ένα ενήλικων διδασκομένων χάρτη.
4. Για τη δημιουργία ενός παγκόσμιου μαθητών συνηγόρου του δικτύου.
